Sabarmati Ashram
Sabarmati Ashram founded by our Mahatma Gandhi bapu on the riverbank of Sabarmati, so it is called "Sabarmati Ashram". Mahatma Gandhiji lived 12 years here in Ashram and left for Dandi March in 1930. Mahatma Gandhi did many experiments like farming, cow breeding, khadi and animal husbandary etc. Here in the ashram. Rishi Dadhichi ashram is also nearer to the Sabarmati Ashram. When left for Dandi in 1930, he vowed or committed that he would not return to the Sabarmati Ashram until the country get complete freedom. In Gujarati, he said,"Kagdaa kutra na mote marish pan swaraj lidha vagar pachho nahi avuu." There are many tourist places like Magan Niwas, Hriday Kunj, Upasana Mandir, Nandini, Vinoba Mira kutir, Udhyog Mandir, Teacher's Niwas, Somnath Chattralaya, Painting gallery and one museum which shows Gandhi in Ahmedbad, My life in my message and Library and many archives. Science City
Science City, Ahmedabad, Hebatpur, Ahmedabad having more than 100 hectares of land given by Government of Gujarat to take initiative for education in science to attract more students and collegians. India's first IMAX 3D theatre is here in Science city of Ahmedbad. Science city has many more interesting places to visit and they are like energy park, Planet Earth, , a hall of science and space and an amphitheatre and also having many dancing musical fountains. Science city has hall of space and science spreading more than 20000 square feet area and that includes demos of communication signals, transformation, encoding and decoding of that signals and all the stuffs that matter the sattellite technology and its communications. There are shows to give journey through space, robotics, computer controlled panoramic projection, interactive science exhibition related to space science, touch screen operated multimedia programs. 
Dada Hari ni Vav
Dada Hari ni vav is situated at Asarwa lake, Ahmedabad and main purpose of building this vav is to provide cooled water to traverllers or stress passers nearby this vav. It is said that Sultan Mahmad begada and Bai Harir was the resposible administrators of step well of the vav. The vav is also having garden and this garden includes grave of Bai Harir. 
Jama Masjid
The Jama Masjit whose meaning is 'Friday Masjid or Mosque' is one of the most amazing civil structure of Ahmedabad city and it was built by founder of the city, Ahmed Shah. The Jama Masjid is located in old city area of Mahatma Gandhi Road, nearby Teen Darwaja. On the west side of the Masjit there are grave or tombs of Ahmed Shah, his son and grandson. The complete Jama Masjid is built by Yello sandstone
Julta Minars
Julta Minars are one of the amazing structure and most visitable place in city and are unique construction located at Sidi Bashir's Masjid or Mosque in old Ahmedabad city in Kalupur (Ahmedabad JN) Railways station area. These Minar are also called Shaking Minarets. These minars was built by slave of Sultan Ahmed Shah, Sidi Bashir. It is said that there are two minars in the masjid and if one minar is shaken, other minar also starts vibrating for few seconds. The reason behind this a still mystry. 
Sidi Saiyyed's Jali
Sidi Saiyyed Masjid or Sidi Saiyyed's Jali was built in year 1573 by Sidi Saiyyed. The masjid was build before the end of Sultanate of Gujarat, Ahmedabad. The Jali is made from ten square stone and carved beautifully with geometrical designs. This jali is offical logo or symbol representing Ahmedbad City and Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
ISKCON temple
The full form of ISKCON is International Society for Krishna Consciousness and it was formed in year of 1966 by Divine human A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. ISKCON is also called as Hare Krishna movement. The temple is located at Satellite road, Ahmedabad-380059. The mission of ISKCON is to promote, support the well being of the society, people by teaching the science, holy knowledge of Krishna as per Shri mad Bhagvad Gita. 
Kankaria lake-Nagina wadi
Kankaria lake which is biggest lake in the Ahmedabad city and was earlier known as Qutub Hojj. Many stories are related this lake that many kings used to take bath in this lake. The lake is situated in Maninagar area, nearby Maninagar Railway Station. The Kankaria lake was built and founded by Sultan Kutubuddin in approximately 1451. The lake also contains Nagina Wadi, a beautiful garden by Urdu meaning, is at centre part of the lake. Kankaria lake has also gym called 'Ambubhai Purani Vyayamshala'. Lake also has central garden, walkway with lighting, restaurants, Junk food places. Nagina Wadi is a garden with entertainment based theme, and one can go to Nagina wadi by walking half way to lake by straight, tree lined walkway in the lake water. Nagina wadi was one of the most amazing garden in year 2009 during Kankaria Karnival Festival.
How to reach each tourist destination in Ahmedabad
There are plenty of options available for reaching the particular destination in Ahmedabad tourist places. One of the best option is AMTS bus services provided by Ahmedabad Municipality. One can choose central boarding station as 'Lal Darwaja' and from there one can board to respective AMTS bus to get the place.
