Though the reviews were not as expected the Ajith starred movie hit the screens with a bang and now the position of the movie is pretty good. Though the director has not concentrated on the story of the movie it is definitely Ajith who made the movie a fascinating one. The Movie is doing well in the Box office till now and hope this continues .

I think that though the reviews were not as expected the Tamil actor Ajith starred movie hit the screens with a bang and now the position of the movie is pretty good. Though the director has not concentrated on the story of the movie it is definitely Ajith who made the movie a fascinating one. The review may differ from person to person but taking the billa 2 as the life before billa 1 the director is compelled to show ajith as a killing machine and that is what Ajith has done. According to me the director has done well it would be more fascinating if the director would have concentrated more on the childhood of david which is a most needed one to be concentrated while showing a don's story.A Brief review of the Tamil movie Billa 2
It is produced by "the wide angel creation" stared by Ajith kumar in the main role and Parvathy Omanakuttan doing the female role and are well supported by roles of Bruna Abdullah, Sudhanshu Pandey, Vidyut Jamwal, Rahman and others. The movie starts with Ajith speaking out "Dai enn vazhkayile, Ovoru naalum, Ovoru nimishamum, Enn ovoru vinadiyum nana sethukunathuda" and then starts attacking the six men around him using a knife. Then the pictorial representation of the childhood life of David Billa with his family and how his family is murdered by the Sri Lankan army is shown. Soon Billa involves in many cruel activities in Sri Lanka with some of the friends and after some days due to the circumstances the all the Tamilians in Sri Lanka move out from there to reach Tamil nadu.

After reaching Tamil Nadu, David watches that the Tamilians from Sri Lanka are treated very worsly. First at the registrar office David is insulted where in reply he also argues and the peon Muthu in the office talks too much and david slaps him for that. After this incident the peon respects billa whenever he sees him. At one stage Ragubhir sinha the police officer murders a man who he thinks that has complained about the illegal drug dealings and at the time meets David too. Soon Sinha once again comes into the pisture and raises hand against a person when David Billa makes a small quarrel breaking his neck and Billa is arrested for the same and is released after three days.
Soon Sinha wants to take revenge of billa and therefore plans to arrest Billa and his companion for illegal diamond business whereas billa escapes from them after attacking the police on their way and joins selvaraj who owns a hotel and does all types of illegal activities where he also kills the policemen who was the reason behind the raid. Soon Billa gets more eagerness and thirst for wealth and does the illegal things in a better way and this makes him precious in this business. Soon he joins another gangster gabbazi and deals with his business but soon because of some problem Billa seperates himself against him to deal the business solely but Gabbazi tries to kill Billa but Billa escapes and kills Gabbazi on the run. Soon Billa enters into business with Dimithri and plans to expand his business contacts, but as there are more competitors in the business a minister and his son act against billa.
At one stage Billa's Sisters Girl is kidnapped by the Ministers son and killed and Billa Kills the Ministers son with the men around him. Now how Billa is going to take the business with Dimithri and how he is going to succeed against the Minister is the remaining story.
The movie is backed with good stunts and gunfights, but the lack of story and the pirated DVD's tend to be the problem faced by the movie crew.Current position of the Billa 2 movie
The investment on the movie was around 40 crores whereas the income or the Billa 2 collection earned by the movie worldwide in three days is ranging between 30- 32 crores. That means that the movie is doing well though the reviews on the first day said something else. But the biggest setback of the movie is that the pirated DVD rip of Billa 2 and rumors stated that the DVD's were available within 4 hours after the movie released. It is one of the major leap for Tamil movies as it is the highest grossing film which earned 12 crores on the first day, 10 crores on the second day and 12 crores on the third day(according to TOI). Though the movie appeared to be a flop on the first day it has done well in the box office earning some reasonable money and this makes the movie somewhat above the average.
