Gurdwara Beed Baba Buddha Sahib
Gurdwara Beed Baba Buddha Sahib is one of the very popular Gurdwaras in Punjab. This Gurdwara is situated on Chaabal Amritsar road. It is said that the famous Baba Bhuda Ji spent most of the time of his life in this temple. This place was also visited by Guru Arjan Dev Ji. 
According to the history, one day Mata Ganga ji along with her son Guru Arjan Dev Ji visited Baba Bhuda in this place. He presented some delicious food to Baba. But Baba refused to take the food from here. Again Mata Ganga came here with the food which she cooked by herself. Then Baba Bhuda get impressed by her and blessed her and her son. He told that Mata Ji's son would become a great warrior in the future and would crush the heads of Muslims. Shri Guru Arjan Dev Ji was later blesses by Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji.
This popular Gurudwara is 20 km in south Amritsar. This Gurudwara was made in respect to Baba Buddha. According to our source, Baba Bhuddha looked after bir, lit which is a forest especially for gazing cattles. This land was later offered to Guru Arjan. It is here the Mata Ganga received blessings for Arjan. This Gurudwara is also called Bir Sahib, and is situated about 2km far from northwest side of Thatta. In the year 1951, a hall was constructed which is rectangular in shape. 70 metres away from this hall there is a sanctum. Here Guru Granth Sahib was used to sit on a marble chair.
Also, in 1975, another spacious diven hall was also made in this Gurudwara.Guru ka Langar is a dining hall in this Gurudwara. A Khalsa higher school was also constructed in 1963 which is very near to this Gurudwara. Khalsa College was made in 1969. These both were named after Baba Buddha. Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee manages all the work in this Gurudwara. Daily prayers and celevbration of important Sikh festivals are common in this Gurudwara.
