The most awaiting film of Surya fans 'Singam' is released atlast into the theatres. As usually it has a very high expectations as every Surya film has. Film: Singam
Director: Hari
Producer: S.Lakshman Kumar
Cast: Surya, Anushka, Hansika, Vivek and others
Surya is one of the most talented actors in the South and have a huge fan following in the people. His latest film 'Singam' is released in which he paired with Anushka thus repeating the same combination of Yamudu. Devisri Prasad is the music director for this film. Film has the caption "All Indian Police" which makes it more interesting. Lets come to the story of the film, Narasimham (Surya) is a powerful police officer who takes in charge to eradicate drug smugglers in the area of Vizag. His role continued which was left in the first film 'Yamudu'. He left his job and join a NCC college as trainer in order to know some secrets of local mafia gangs. For this he delays his marriage also with Kavya (Anushka). In the mean time, Hansika falls in love with Surya. Hansika is a relative of the local mafia gang leader. Then what happens next and how Narasimham had eradicated them including the head of drugs scandal Danny is the remaining story.Performances in the film 'Singam'
Surya once again proved his mettle through his dynamic acting as a powerful police officer. He has done the fights very well and he suits perfectly to that character. Anushka looks nice in the film and there is not much to do in this film for her. Remaining all others like Hansika and local mafia leaders are o.k with their acting. Vivek and Santhanam have succeeded to bring some laughs in the theatre. Danny had done a good job as villain but not as much as Prakashraj in Yamudu. Technicalities in the film
Director Hari had done a great job with a good screen play with some really good action scenes. Devisri Prasad's music is one of the biggest assets of the film. Stunt master Anala Arasu should be praised for the work. Cinematography is good. Priyan is the Cinematographer for this film. Editing is also a good. All the technicians have done their job up to the mark.
Thus Singam is commercial entertainer packed with the performance of energetic “Surya" and is a must watch film if you are waiting for a good film. I haven't any faults in this movie. So enjoy the movie.
