Location of Sonai Rupai Wildlife Sanctuary
The sanctuary covers an area of 175 sq. km and is located at 52 kilometers away from Tezpur town in the Sonitpur District of Assam in India. Tezpur town is situated on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. The town is also famous for many historic temples and monuments.What to see in Sonai Rupai
The main attraction of the sanctuary are Elephant and Indian bison.The Indian bison roaming around the grassland of the sanctuary gives thrilling experience to the visitors which can hardly be seen in any other place.
