Nambor Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Karbi Anglong Autonomous District Council. It is adjacent to Garampani Wildlife Sanctuary. It covers an area of 37 sq kms. The sanctuary harbours around 51 rare species of Orchid

Although the sanctuary is small in area you can see many rare species of animals and birds in the park. Some commonly found animals are Tiger, Elephant, Gaur, Bears, Sambar, Barking deer, Rhesus macaque, Hoolock gibbon, Wild pig etc. The park is rich in terrestrial woodland birds.
