Pre-matric scholarship for 2011-12 announced for Freshers and Renewals in all districts of karnataka
This article is to inform about the announcement of pre-matric scholarship for the year 2011-12 from Districts of Minorities, Karnataka(gokdom). The selected students are grouped under their respective districts and zones. Now, gokdom has invited applications for pre-matric scholarship 2012-13, the last date of which is on July 31 2012. Students list selected for Pre matric scholarship 2011-12 has been announced on the official website www.gokdom.com. Since large number of students have applied and been sanctioned, the list is divided into Block wise and School wise. For the region of Karnataka the list is divided into 31 parts corresponding to different districts of Karnataka. Therefore there is a separate list for each district for convenience.

The district wise list is put up on the right side of the website, click upon your district and you will see further sub-categories.
Under every district there are four categories which areHow to know whether my name is in fresher or renewal?
Students who have applied for the first time and have never received prematric scholarship from them, come under Fresh category(I & II)
Students who have already received pre-matric scholarship before will have their names in Renewal category lists(I & II)
Further its divided into different zones as north, east, west and south. Thus click the appropriate district and zone.My name is in the list, so how to proceed further?
From this year onwards the scholarship amount is directly deposited to the students bank account. However not all students possess a bank account in his/her name, hence there are two options available to avail the scholarship.
1. Students who already have their bank accounts in their name need to fill up the form 1(refer the image below) and submit to the principal.
2. Students who do not have account are supposed to fill up form 2(refer the image below), which is for opening new account in the student's name, in order to deposit to the students bank account.
The guidelines to fill up the forms and submitting the relevant form(1or2) have been mentioned on the official website www.gokdom.com. The guidelines can be found in the picture attached.
