Parasarar thought it is nectar from milky ocean.At time he found that Lord Shiva was protected from the demons by virtue of his devotion. At that time, William Garrow was the Collector in Coimbatore and Salem Districts. One day night,the Goddess Vedanayaki came in his dream and said him to vacate his Bungalow immediately. Next second, he woke and moved out.The Bungalow was collapsed in next day itself. At time he wondered by seeing the miracle ivory cradle in that place. Then he vacate that place to temple with his signature. This temple was 1000 years old backstone temple.
