We need to generate jobs through special events every summer
In Tamil Nadu, the month of May every year is very special. It is a very hot month when the hill stations like Kodaikanal and Ooty become red hot places, with millions flocking there, and prices of hotels going through the roof. Hundreds of drivers and conductors and tour operators are gainfully employed, as there is massive demand. The respective State Governments need to open up employment opportunities for the students and the public through special events. This can be first done through special food festivals. Every State would have special food in several places. For example, the Mysore Masala Dosa is very famous in Mysore. So in the first week for example, in Tamil Nadu, there can be the Chettinadu cuisine. The second week can be the Madurai special. The third week can be the Kongu district special and so on. The special food should be prepared and served at very reasonable prices throughout the State and the economically poor students can be employed as volunteers, with a salary of Rs.250 per day, along with free food. This will help them pay their fees and so on. The State Government should identify local sponsors, such as the rich traders, NRI professionals, alumni of various educational institutions, and so on. The NRIs from USA and UK can also support through donations.
Then there is the "Fried Brinjal floating in Oil" is a special dish of both Tamil Nadu and AP and Telangana. This is done with slight variations in the preparation. If the YouTube channels can broadcast the actual preparations in Telugu and English, and also do the same on at least three private TV channels, through special sponsorships, along with live reports of the huge crowds that flock to the centers, well, this will itself be a big achievement, as the employment potential will not only go up, but the State can also have fun with some of the best recipes being showcased. I am also told that AP has many such recipes. It is essential that cultural events should also be organized in the month of summer, every year.
Similar events can be organized pan-India.
