Sunset or sunrise are not permanent

Just ponder it for a while. It will be midnight very soon and we experienced sunset in our country today more than five hours ago. Many have already fallen asleep and will wake up tomorrow with the new sun. Interestingly, the whole world has not experienced the sunset at the same instant and in many parts of this world, it is still a bright sunny morning/afternoon. What we call sunrise or sunset is just a daily occurrence because the earth is revolving on its axis continuously and the side facing the sun sees the sunshine and the opposite side experiences darkness. The sun appears relatively stationary but doesn't set or rise permanently.
