April 2023 Trade Deficit in India falls to 21 month low

Indian trade exports and imports have been on the brighter side since April 2023. And this has definitely been at its best in the last 21 months. In the month of April 2023, India's oil imports have been low. The difference in exports and imports has been only 1.38 Billion US Dollars. In March 2023, the difference was 8.37 Billion US Dollars. This means that for April 2023, Indian exports have been 65.02 Billion US Dollars, while the imports were 66.40 Billion US Dollars.

The exports of services have been on the higher side than that of goods. Overall Indian exports have risen by 13.84% when compared to that of FY 2021 - 22. The total exports were USD 770.18 Billion. Overall trade for 2021 - 22 was 676.53 US Billion dollars.
