Roshini is an Indian play back singer who has her hail from the southern state of India – Tamil Nadu. Roshini was brought up in the town of Trichy and turned out to be a successful play back singer in the cine industry and has created many world records as well. She has sung in many languages like Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. It is not definitely an easy fact to get into the Guinness books of world records. Roshini is one of the emerging playback singer who got herself famous with a very few songs in Tamil film industry. Roshini belong to Tamilnadu where her birth place is Trichy and that is situated in Tamilnadu. Because of her birth, she can also be said that she was born to a proper Tamil family and fully enriched with all the Tamil Culture which was actually trained by Dr Joseph Kaliyaperumal and Mrs Lucy Joseph who were her parents. Her first schooling till 9th standard was very successful in the Town itself and later on for the purpose of her higher education after 9th standard she moved to the Chennai city. Roshini finished her Bachelor of Engineering degree and made herself comfortable with a graduation degree as an Engineer in Computer Science.
Roshini learnt music since her childhood and therewith made her equipped with various talents involved in music. It was rather not more difficult for Roshini to enter into the field of light music once she got into lime light with the Guinness record she made by singing non – stop for 37 hours along with her sister. Roshini is now a popular singer in the Tamil film industry and made herself well established singer in the industry with her voice and the abbreviated talent towards light music and the tactics involved with the same. Roshini's first debut song was “Kannan guruvi" for the film Aaha Enna Porutham. This song was set to the tunes of the music director Vidya Sagar. Though this song did not move well ahead in her career; the first hit of Roshini's voice was for the film Kuthu for which she lent voice for the song “Pottu Thakku" starring Simbu and Ramya Krishnan in the video clipping. This made a good kick start for Raoshini in her profession and there after she made it with a big bang and made it a long way with no turning back after this song. Some of her hit movies in which she had lent voices are Pattiyal, Thamirabharani and Yaaradi Ne Mohini.
Some of Roshini's notable numbers in the Tamil film industry are “Namma Kathula Mazhai Peyuthu" for the film Pattiyal having Arya, Bharath, Pooja and Padma Piya in the lead characters. This was one golden opportunity for Roshini that made her sing along with Illaiyaraaja who is a legendary musician in the Indian film industry; but the tunes were set by the legend's son – Yuvan Shankar Raja. after this success, Roshini again combined with Yuvan for the film Theeratha Villaiyattu Pillai for the song “En Janna Vandha Kaatre" having Vishal and three new faces as heroines in the lead role.
