Nando's was started first in the year 1987 taking their taste worldwide today in thirty countries across five continents worldwide. It is a casual dining restaurant originating from a Mozambican-Portuguese community taking its theme successfully till today. The restaurant was first started by Robert Brozin and Fernando Duarte in 1987 in the name called Chickenland in Johannesburg. Later turned into Nando's taking the taste of chicken in a very unique style. They have their specialities in providing chicken with a mixture of lemon or herb with extra hot peri peri marinades which is of African base, they provide a different flavour with mango/ lime or Mediterranean touch. Their famous food is the flame-grilled Peri-Peri chicken which is one of their high selling and famous dish. Other than this they serve burgers, pitas, salads, wraps and wings. Peri-Peri is an African bird chilli used for flavour is one which brings the juicy taste called Peri- Peri. Nando's also provides tasty sauces which are specially made by them include Peri-Peri sauces, marinades and Peri- Peri essence. The restaurant was worldwide famous but first started its restaurant chain in India in the late 2010 in Bangalore with their first outlet.
