Faridabad lies in the southern part of the NCR (National Capital region) a mere 25 kms from the southern border of New Delhi.

The nearest airport of Faridabad is the Indira Gandhi Airport situated in New Delhi.

By road
There are numerous ways of getting to Faridabad, the best way is by NH-2 (National Highway-2). The roads of Faridabad are quite developed and in good shape unlike other Indian roads.

There are many buses coming from New Delhi to Faridabad. Although you should be wary of people who drop you off at the border.Nevertheless if such things happen one can catch any auto or bus to take you to Faridabad, the local transportation means are very developed in this region of Haryana.

Taking a taxi is always the most comfortable means of reaching Faridabad but can prove costlier at times. The charges of a taxi ranges from 300-500 for one way travel to Faridabad.

By Train
Due to its location Faridabad railway station is quite full the whole day as most of the trains passing through Delhi have to pass through Faridabad. Also there are a number of EMU running from Faridabad to New Delhi.

Public transport mainly consists of auto-rickshaws, but there frequency is very high and prove quite successful on the narrow roads of the city. Normal charges range from Rs. 10-15.

Bhadkal Lake- you should avoid this one as it is a disaster of a lake as it is almost dry now.
Siddhadata Temple-Situated on the Badhkal-Surajkund road is a peaceful place.
Town Park-It is a beautiful park in sec-12.. , a quite place for family and friends.
Malls-Crown Interior,Crown Plaza, SRS ,Pristine mall,Parsvnath city mall, Parsvnath Mall Manhatten etc.
Sec 15 market- the coolest market in town with a lot of young crowd poring in.
