PPSC and Honourable Punjab & Haryana High Court jointly conducts the recruitment for Punjab Civil Service (Judicial Branch). PPSC Punjab Civil Service(Judicial Branch) Recruitment 2011 Eligibility Criteria, Pay Scale and Qualification


  • Total of 110 posts exists for Punjab Civil Service (Judicial Branch).

  • The age of the candidate should be between 21 to 37 years. However the age limit is relaxable for Central or State Govt employees upto 47 years and for widows and Divorcees it is relaxable up to 42 years and for physically handicapped persons it is relaxable up to 47 years.

  • Candidate should be a Law Graduate from any University in India or can be a Law graduate from Dacca University, The Tribhuwan University, Nepal, The Sind University or Mandalay University in Burma or a Barrister of England or Ireland or can be a member of the faculty of advocates of Scotland.

  • The candidate should have taken Punjabi upto Matric or its equivalent.

  • Candidates appearing for final year examination of Law degree can also apply.

  • The pay scale for Punjab Civil Service (Judicial Branch) has been fixed in the range of Rs.27,700-40,450/- which may be revised periodically.


    • How to apply for PPSC PCS Judicial Branch Examination 2011


    The examination fees for PPSC PCS Judicial Branch Examination 2011 is Rs. 2000/- for general categories and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST and other backward classes of Punjab. The DD has to be drawn in favour of "Secretary, Punjab Public Service Commission" payable at Patiala. The candidates should obtain online application form for PPSC Punjab Civil Service (Judicial Branch) Examination 2011 from the official website of PPSC. You can also get the application form directly from the office of Punjab Public Service Commission at the address mentioned below. You can collect the application form from the office from 19th of September 2011. The cost of application form is Rs. 25/- when collected by paying through Cash at cash counter or Rs. 75/- through bank draft if you wish to get it by post. Your application should reach the office at the mentioned address on or before October 17th, 2011.
