Vacancy details: A total of 900 vacancies (including backlog vacancies) available for PO jobs. Out of which 123 for SC, 62 for ST, 77 for ST Backlog vacancies, 222 for OBC and Gen 416.
Pay scale: The salary for Probationary officers will be Rs. 14500 - 25700/- along with admissable benefits as per norms.
Age limit: The age limit for PSB recruitment 2012 for Probationary Officers should be between 21 and 30 years as on 01.07.2011. However the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC Non-creamy layer, 10 years for PWD and 5 years for Ex-Servicemen.
Educational qualification as on 01.07.2011: Candidates should be a Graduate in any discipline with 55% of marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD) from recognized university are eligible to apply. Candidates who have computer knowledge are preferred.
