Pay scale: The salary for Lecturer (Medical Technology) and Medical Physicist is Rs.15600-39100 with GP of Rs.5400.
The salary for Lecturer is Rs. 15600-39100 with GP of Rs.6600.
The salary for Tutor post is Rs.9300-34800 with GP of Rs.4600.
The salary for Clinical Instructor is Rs.9300-34800 with GP Rs.4800.
Age limit: The age limit for PGIMER recruitment 2012 for Medical Physicist and Clinical Instructor is 35 years and for all other post the age is 50 years as on 20.10.2012. However the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for ST and 3 years for OBC.
Educational eligibility: The candidates who wish to apply for must have done Master Degree / M.Sc / Diploma /B.Sc in relevant disciplines from a recognized university. The candidates will be selected based on the written test followed by interview. The written examination will be conducted in Chandigarh only. The exam date will be intimated through admit cards and they need to get the admit card for PGIMER recruitment 2012 for Group A and B post from PGIMER official website. The written examination will be for one and half hours which consists of 85 objective type multiple choice questions which carries 85 marks.
