CTU recruitment 2012 for Bus driver eligibility, pay scale and vacancy details

CTU Bus driver vacancies: A total of 114 vacancies available of which General 48, SC 21, OBC 34, EXSM 11.

CTU Bus driver salary: The bus driver jobs in CTU will be paid in the scale of Rs.5910-20200 with GP of Rs.2400 along with admissible allowances as per norms.

CTU Bus driver age limit: The age of the candidate should be between 25 to 35 years as on 01.01.2012. However the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC 3 years for OBC and as per norms for Ex-Servicemen.

CTU Bus driver educational eligibility: The candidates should have passed Matric from a recognized board / university. They should possess valid licence permitting to drive heavy transport vehicle for 5 years and the candidate should have five years of experience.

Selection process for CTU Bus driver recruitment 2012

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in driving skill test followed by written exam for which the details are here.

Driving Skill Test:
(a) Dug/Ramp Test - Reverse driving (one chance)
(b) Candidates who qualify on the above have to appear for "8" shape Driving Test.
(c) Qualifying candidates of the above two test need to take up Road Test (one chance).

Written test:
Only those candidates who qualified in the above driving skill test will be allowed to take up written test which is of objective type multiple choice questions consists of 90 questions carries one mark each. The syllabus for CTU bus driver written test is based on candidates Knowledge of Motor vehicle act and traffic rules, Knowledge of bus/vehicle repair/ maintenance and basic knowledge of first aid.

The final selection list for CTU recruitment 2012 for Bus driver is based on marks obtained by the candidates. So there will be no interview for CTU bus driver recruitment. Candidates need to get CTU bus driver call letter for driving test/ written test from the official website only.
