About Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya
Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya(RGPV) also known as Rajiv Gandhi Technical University(RGTU), is the technical university of Madhya Pradesh, that is into imparting technical education and research. It was established in 1998 and has a big campus area of about 247 acres surrounded by hills. It is located on Risen-Narsingarh by pass highway.
Under it there are more than 300 institutes. Among them are 200 engineering colleges, 95 MCA colleges, 4 Architecture colleges,5 University Teaching Departments and 98 Pharmacy colleges.
RGTU offers a no. of undergraducate and postgraduate courses which can suit the needs of any student. The class rooms are air conditioned and the library has a range of books catering the needs of its students.
The university offers several courses in the fields like:

6.Pharmacy etc.
RGPV offers both full time and online courses. It also offers executive programs for applicants having work experience at senior levels.
For the next five years the university plans to:

3.Focusing on areas like R&D, industrial and innovation techniques.

About University Institute of Technology
Previously known as Government Engineering College Bhopal, is a premier college for engineering which was established by the Government of M.P in 1986. Later in 1998 it was declared as autonomous and in 2002 it was declared as the constituent college of RGPV. It is now called University Institute of Technology(UIT-RGPV).
