There are 3 positions vacant at IIT,Indore for a Workshop Superintendent, Senior Medical Officer and Medical Officer (female).
The pay band for all the three positions is PB-3 (15600 – 39100) with some difference in the Grade pay. The GP for the first 2 positions is Rs. 7600 and minimum total emolument in the pay band for Workshop Superintendent is Rs.72,396 and for SMO is Rs.79771 per month. Whereas, that for the position of Medical Officer is Rs. 5400 and the minimum total emolument is Rs. 57246. 1. Workshop Superintendent: The candidate should be Ph.D or M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and should have specialised in production engineering or manufacturing. The candidate should have a minimum experience of 3 years working in production or manufacturing in case of Ph.D holders and 7 years in case of M.Tech holders. The maximum age limit is 45 years.
2. Senior Medical Officer: The candidates applying for SMO position should either be M.D Medicine with 5 yrs of work experience or M.B.B.S with 10 yrs of experience out of which 5 yrs must be in a teaching/ large hospital as a Resident Medical Officer with I.C.U or Casualty experience. For this position the maximum age limit is 45 yrs.
3. Medical Officer: Candidates who have completed M.B.B.S from a recognised university can apply for this post however preference would be given to those who have 5 yrs work experience after internship as medical officer.
