English proficency test compulsory for pilots
To avoid miscommunication between pilots and Air traffic controller DGCA has given 31 st Dec. as a last date date to clear English test.It is a oral test.It is ICAO requirement.so every pilot has to clear this test otherwise it is very difficult for them to exercise their licence privileges.
English proficiency test is oral test which is become compulsory for all pilots, instructors, ATS in India.
DGCA (Director General of Civil Aviation) has given 31st Dec as last date to clear this English test. It is an ICAO requirement so every pilot has to clear this test otherwise they cannot exercise their licence privileges. This examination is taken to know the pilot communication skill. DGCA will choose examiners to conduct oral test of pilots, instructors and engineers of the concerned flying school and airlines. And the pilot will be issued with a certificate from the examiner of the satisfactory performance…
