Pune city in Maharashtra state India is ready to welcome the MindSpark'11, the festival of Engineering College Pune. Apart from the events, MindSpark'11 will bring you a series of lectures from famous Indian personalities like Mr Arvind Gupta (2008 recipient of Indira Gandhi Award for Science Popularization), Major General Dipankar Banerjee (Consultant to the united nations of the conventional arms register and founder, institute of peace and conflict studies) and Dr Govind Swarup(2007 recipient of the Grote Reber Medal and founder of world's largest radio telescope) respectively. Among the above mentioned, Arvind Gupta was also awarded the TWAS regional prize for public understanding and popularization of science in 2010.
