Nirma Institute of Technology, Ahmedabad is one of the best private engineering college of Gujarat. Nowadays Dr. Karshanbhai Patel, founder of NIRMA products is president of the university. Nirma Insitute of Technology runs three basic engineering courses i.e. graduation, post graduation and doctorate degree. Nirma Insitute of Technology was affiliated to Gujarat University till 2003 but later on it separates from Gujarat University and affiliated to its own Nirma University of science and technology.
