Narendra Modi-Introduction and Early days
Narendra Modi is now no more strange word to any one in this world. He is known to people of Gujarat and India as well as in World too. He is famous for his development and progress in Gujarat. He is one of the great leaders from Gujarat. Shri Narendra D. Modi or Narendra Modi, a bright candidate of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) born to Shri Damodardas Modi and Heeraben in 17th September, 1950. Narendra Modi has 5 siblings and is third child of Damodardas. He did his schooling from Vadnagar. He did his master education in Political science from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. During his young days, he used to earn money by tea stall along with his elder brother. He also participated India-Pakistan war as volunteer to serve the Indian Jawan when soldiers were in transit from one place to other by Railway. Narendra Modi used to serve them as possible as he can. During early days of schooling, he also joined ABVP (Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarth Parishad). He was introvert since childhood but due to workaholic he was noticed by BJP and he was offered Narendra Modi in RSS
Narendra Modi was in RSS (Rashtriya SwayamSevak Sangh) since his college days. He used to be pracharak for his RSS team. Along with Shankarsinh Vaghela, he developed the RSS base in Gujarat. Since then RSS and BJP was in Gujarat. In 1995, BJP came with 2/3rd Majority in Gujarat and formed the Government. Being a National Secretary of the BJP, he took charge of major 5 states of India during 1995. He remained key persons in Party. But when ShankarSinh Vaghela left the BJP, Narendra Modi was sent to New Delhi as New General Secretary of BJP. He kept this position from 1998 to 2001.Narendra Modi as Chief Minister of Gujarat
After Keshubhai Patel, Narendra Modi became chief minister for the first time in 2001. Followed by 2002 election, he became chief minister for second time and third time in 2007. Recently he became first chief minister of Gujarat who became chief minister of Gujarat consecutively for four time and with more than 4092 as on result declaration of 2012 election. During 2002 assembly election in Gujarat, BJP won total 127 seats, Congress won 51 and other parties won total 4 seats.
During 2007 assembly election in Gujarat, BJP won total 117 seats, Congress won 59 and other parties won total 6 seats.
During 2012 assembly election in Gujarat, BJP won total 115 seats, Congress won 61 and other parties won total 6 seats.
During all three state assembly election, Narendra Modi won election from Maninagar. In recent 2012 election, he won Maninagar seat by 86373 Votes against his opposite person Shweta Bhatt. Narendra Modi - A real developer of Gujarat
