History of Hazaribagh
History of Hazaribagh is glorified due to its spiritualism. Hazaribagh is the place where Mr. Parasnath, the 23th Tirthankar expired. Hazaribagh was formed in 1790 as a short town in Bihar. In this time (1790) Hazaribagh is only a part of a District name Ramgarh (Ramgarth). After this in year 1834 it become a headquarter of the District Ramgarh.
Hazaribagh is also famous for his central Jail, a landmark, and has play a magnificent role in the history of Hazaribagh. During the struggle against British government ( Against the Forgien Company ) eminent persons were imprisoned and all were taken in to the Jail ( In Central Jail ). Dr. Rajendra Prasad was the first president of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad was also the prisoner of this Central Jail, one other partner of Dr. Rajendra Prasad was Jayprakash.
