Eturnagaram Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Warangal district of Andhra Pradesh state, India. More correctly we can say that this sanctuary is located in the Eturnagaram village of Warangal district of Andhra Pradesh state. About 10 years back, the Andhra government has identified about 22 spots for development as eco-tourism spots to promote environment education as well as tourism. Examples of those eco-tourism spots were Indira Gandhi Zoological Park Visakhapatnam, Pulicat Bird Sanctuary Nellore, Mahavir National Park Hyderabad, S.V.Zoo Park Tirupati, wildlife sanctuaries of coring at Kakinada, Kolleru of West Godavari, Manjira of Sangareddy district and Eturnagaram of Warangal.

The Andhra Pradesh Forest Department will be initiating a week long tiger and panther census in the state starting from 1 May 2012. The locations to be covered include Eturnagaram and Pakhal wildlife sanctuary of Warangal district, Kawal Wildlife Sanctuary of Adilabad district, Kinnerasani wildlife sanctuary of Khammam district, Papikonda and Chintalapally apart from Srisailam tiger reserve and Sri Venkateswara wildlife sanctuary Tirupati.
