Essential ingredients: neem flowers - 1 cup, jaggery - 1 cup, raw mango - 1 new red chilli powder - little, salt - half table spoon and new tamarind - according with requiremnt.
Making procedure:Firstly we have to pour water (water should be used according with the number of family members) in tamarind and have to prepare the paste of water and tamarind. This mixture have to be poured in a new pot and in some parts people uses others kitchen wares. Next we have to cut the mango into small pieces by removing the green skin, and then we have to mix the chilli powder, jaggery and the small mango pieces in the pot which contained the tamarind and water mixture and finally we have to mix the neem flowers in the pot. Now the Ugadi Pachadi is ready and our Puranas are saying that we have read the below given shloka while eating the Ugadi Pachadi.
