Now there is a latest news regarding the number of tigers in this reserve. Spread in an area of 866 sqkm, once this park was home to 15 tigers. At present there are 3 tigers and 2 tigeresses here. Earlier the Forest Department and the Rajasthan State Government faced criticism for the disappearance of tigers from the reserve.
