Candidates with 55% marks at PG level in the respective subjects are eligible to apply for Ph.D programme 2013- 2014 at Mewar University Rajasthan . But there will be a 5% relaxation in the case of SC/ST/PH candidates. Ph.D application forms can be downloaded from the Mewar University website mentioned here. http://mewaruniversity.org/uploads/files/application-form-ph_D.PDF . The filled in application form must be submitted to Mewar University along with a DD of Rs 500/- (for common admission form), Rs 1000/-(for Ph.D form) favoring Mewar University payable at Chittorgarh with 2 copies of the synopsis on the chosen research topic. There will be an entrance test conducted by Mewar University. Candidates selected after screening should appear for this entrance test and if passed successfully they have to attend an interview and one to one discussion. Selected candidates along with his/her research guide are required to make a presentation of their synopsis before RDC(Research Degree Committee) consisting of subject experts. If found suitable, they will be allowed to proceed with their research work.
