Vacancy for the post of Constable in Rajasthan Police

RPRB (Rajasthan Police Recruitment Board) recently announced vacancies for the post of 12178 constables. Both male and Females can apply for the posts. Online form is available from 22 July 2013.

The post for the vacancy is police constable in armed police, RAC/MBC, and police constable telecom (Operator).No of vacancies
The number of vacancies is 12178 including quota. Salary
The salary will lie in range of 5200-20000 depending on the post. Age limit
The age limit for these vacancies is 18-23 years.Application form fees
The application form is available for general category at Rs.200 and for SC/ST category for Rs.150.The form can also be filled online at http://www.exampolice.rajasthan.gov.in/ .Qualifications required
The qualification required for the post of district police is 10th pass.
Qualification required for the post of RAC battalion is 8th pass.
Qualification required for the post of operator is higher secondary in science with physics and mathematicsSelection process
• There will be a written test of 75 marks.
• After clearing written test one needs to go through physical standard Test/physical efficiency Test
• Proficiency Test (if required)
• Lastly one needs to appear for medical Examination.
Reservation
Sports persons will be given 2% reservation in the vacancies.
Backward classes will be given 1% reservation in the vacancies.
