The Spoilt Child
Parenting, Idleness, Pocket – money
Raj was the only son of a rich couple. He enjoyed a comfortable childhood. His father lavished on him the best and most expensive gifts, with the result Raj was growing up spoilt. His mother would often bring to her husband's notice their son's behavior but the man ignored it and continued to give him the best.
After graduating, his father told him to take a long break, rest and enjoy life for a year or so. He would then want him to take interest in the family business. Raj agreed. But his mother did favor it. She repeatedly pointed out to her husband that idleness and pocket money together, would ruin their son's future. However, her husband insisted on having things his way.
When his father felt it was time for his son to get serious about life and the business he was in for a shocking surprise. Raj had reached a point of no return – he had fallen into vice and dishonour. Realizing, rather repeatedly, his grave mistake, Raj's father collapsed after a fatal heart attack.
