About UNESCO World Heritage Sites
A place which is listed by UNESCO, is known as UNESCO World Heritage Site. A heritage place can be any place such as city, complex, monument, lake, mountain, forest, building. Internation World Heritage Programme was administered by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee, which is made of total 21 of state parties which was selected by the General Assembly. This program of UNESCO consits of featuring and naming the nice built and outstanding natural importance to the common heritage, but before adding any heritage site there are some certain conditions. UNESCO World Heritage Site was founded by Convention Concerning the Protection of World Cultural and Natural Heritage and after then the General Conference of UNESCO adopted it on November16, 1972 since parties of 186 states ratified the convention.

Any country who wants to list their site must take an inventory of its significant natural and cultural properties, it is called as the Tentative List. It is compulsory to include them on Tentative List.
