The Kala Ghoda Arts Festival a nine days festival organized by Kala Ghoda Association. Kala Goda Arts Festival takes place in an open air exhibition space which is more of like a annual street fairwhere many Street Shows, Workshops, Seminars, Music Concerts will take place and various upcoming artists from across the country may participate and exhibit their artwork which provides opportunities for them to proove their talents on various fields of arts and entertainments.

Kala Ghoda Arts 2011 features various workshops range from arts and crafts, Indian Dance and Music, Drama and Literature and many other arts. 'One World' is the theme of Children Workshop this year which features various arts from around the world. Well known artists Rekha Shivdasani and artists Anita Chakraborty conducts painting workshops for children and there will be music workshop sa-re-mi-fa-pa-dha-ti-do to entertain children. 2011 Kalaghoda Arts Festival Workshop main focus are on Art & Lifestyle from the fields of art, photography, calligraphy, wellness, digital media which provides audiences a better understand of the underlying concepts and this would be accompanied with side by side demonstrations too.Film Screening Events on Kalaghoda Arts Festival 2011
Mr. Arun Puranik is the person who is an initiative to this workshop on Films. Here one can know about the history of Indian Cinema over 100 years right from the beginning of black and white, silent pictures to till date colored one. Moreover you can see here the rare photographs, collections of film booklets, show cards, handpainted poster and many memorable things. Mr. Kiran Shantaram and Mr. V. Shantaram will inaugurate the workshop. The main highlights of the workshop is on Basu Chatterjee's films. For the first time during this festival they are going to showcase Indian and International Films which is to be released in 2011. Various films are going to be screened this year. The film 'We are Family' by Siddharth Malhotra, Film 'I Hate Love Stories' by Puneet Malhotra and 'Wake up Sid' by Ayaan Mukherjee are the three films by young directors which is going to be screened this year. Workshop on Theatre Plays at Kalaghoda Arts 2011 facilitates amateur directors to professional director a platform to exhibit their plays. This year there will be 28 theatre plays with three to four shows per day is to be showcased everyday.
