HS(High speed)-
when this indicator is on, the modem is operating at its highest transfer rate.

AA(Auto Answer)-
when this indicator is on, the modem will answer any incoming automatically.This feature is very useful for unattended systems like bulletin board.

CD(Carrier Detect)-
when the modem detects carrier signal,it turns on this indicator.It means it has successfully connected to the remote computer.when either modem drops the line this indicator will go off.

OH(off Hook)-
when the modem takes control of telephone line its turn on.

RD(Receive data)
Indicator flickers to show data being received.

SD(Send data)
Indicator flickers when data is sent out.
