Mr. Taraporewala was the person who started this aquarium in Mumbaim, so this aquarium was named Taraporewala after his death. Sharks and beautiful turtles are some common species of aquatic organisms which are found in this aquarium. The Entry fees to Taraporewala Aquarium are modest so one can easily visit this aquarium. At one side of Aquarium there are nearly hundred types of fishes. This also includes coral fishes of seven types which are brought from Lakshadweep Island. The main marine animals which attract the visitor are the sharks, turtles and moray eels. On the other side there are preserved remaining of the past fishes and marine animals. These fishes are mainly kept in glass bottles so that no one can touch it. The photography is highly prohibited in Taraporewala Aquarium.
