The headquarters of BNHS is in the Hornbill House at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Road of Mumbai. It also studies on wildlife and conservation in India.
Not only this, Bombay Natural History Society also publishes magazines for four months i.e. 'The Journal of the Bombay Natural History Society' and 'Hornbill'. Also, many specimens are donated to the society.
