History of Koffee with Karan
This is a very popular show that airs on Star World and also on Star One. This show was the first show in English which got very high viewers. This show is most viewed by the youngsters of the country. 
The host of the show is the popular Karan Johar and he is the director too. The first season of Koffe with Karan was started on 19th of November, 2004 and it ended on May 27, 2005. Then the second one began on February 2007. Both the seasons banged on the television screens but then Karan took break fron the show for completing his film Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. Then was seen back in Koffee with Karan season 3 which started on November 7,2010.
This talk show with celebrities is also viewed by the people living outside India. In this show, Karan Johar organizes a Rapid Fire round in which he asks many questions to the particular guests. These questions are asked to answer as quickly as possible. Sometimes these questions can be optional one in which guest has to choose one option of two or otherwise it is straight away questions. Karan also has a Lie-o-meter with him in the show which he usually beeps out when he thinks guest is lying to him. This how really rocked in small screen television.Koffee with Karan Season 1
The first season of Koffee with Karan was really a nice one. It was started on November 19, 2004. The episode in which Abhishek and Preety Zinta were seen together was the most viewed episode of Koffee with Karan Season 1. Every episode of this season was special. In one, British director Gurider Chadha was called out along with Indian director Farah Khan. In the wives special episode Gauri Khan and Suzanne Roshan were invited.
In the finale of Koffee with Karan seaon 1, Sharukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan were invited. In that episode the Rapid Fire round were judges by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Farah Khan and Farhan Akhter. At the end of the Rapid Fire round, they declared both of them as the winners.Koffee with Karan Season 2
Season 2 of Koffee with Karan was started on February 11,2007. The first episode of this season was began with guest as the celebrities of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The film stars of Krrish i.e. Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra were also seen together in a episode. Then first time Karishma Kapoor was seen along with her sister Kareena Kapoor.
In this season many more celebrities were present who have never attended any such shows. The couples in real life i.e. John Abraham and Bipasha Basu also made their appearance and Shahid Kapoor was also there along with his girlfriend Kareena Kapoor. In one episode, stars of Om Shanti Om i.e. Sharukh Khan and Deepika Padukone were invited.

This season was started on 7th of November, 2010. As same as the other two seasons this was also a nice one which was liked by many viewers. In the first episode, Aishwariya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were seen together in this show. The best episode by Critic's choice was the one in which Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor were seen together.
