Whenever I wanted to buy for myself or gift someone. These two places in Mumbai never failed me. Linking road and Hill Road. You will always find something to pick up from the big shops (which almost always have sale)or the road side stalls. At times you get to buy good branded stuff at reasonable prices. Both the places have many such shops. Fendy used to be my favorite but now a days they have hiked up the price too much. But the belts and accessories are just great. You will get a good rate in the small lanes on both the sides of linking road (Khar). When you are tired of shopping and want to eat or drink you will get lots of good options for the same. KFC, Mac, CCD etc. You can spend the entire day their shopping and eating and these places will never disappoint you in the range and bargains. Other than the small shops one can also find some of the biggest brands at Linking road. For example if you want to buy shoes you will find Metro, Regal, Lords etc. They also have good brands for cloths like Mango, Levis, etc. One suggestion is first take a round and find out the price and then decide what you want to pick from where.
