Neglect of Municipal Hospital Officials in Mumbai
The Mumbai Municipal Hospitals have shown continuous lack of concern and level of tolerance to the poor sections of the population of Mumbai. They are solely established for the sole purpose of providing healthcare services and facilities at concessional rates to the economically disadvantaged class of the Mumbai population.
.This has a detrimental effect on the working as well as the comfort levels of the poor sections of the population of Mumbai in terms of their finances as well as their work life pattern in their daily lives.
Many Municipal Hospitals in Mumbai has shown lack of promptness and service with regard to healthcare to the poor and have ignored their health by delaying and giving inaccurate diagnosis and treatment to their patients.
The amount of sanitation and hygiene is also quite bad and is a very miserable state.The level of cleanliness within and around the Municipal Hospital premises is not adequately maintained,and this,thus has a detrimental effect on the health of the patient who is suffering in the process.
The lack of availability of ambulances and other means of transport for the suffering patients has been low on the priority in the eyes of the authorities of the Mumbai Municipal Hospitals.
In order to solve this ever increasing problem,a collaboration between the Private Commercial Hospitals operating in the area and the Municipal Hospitals in the area as well in order to co operate and help each other accordingly with the problems each one faces during the course of their daily duties.
