Chhatrasal Stadium is a nationwide famous stadium. It is known for its world class sports facilities. It has sports facilities for both indoor and outdoor games. Indoor facilities include Gym/ Fitness, Aerobics, Billiards/ Snooker, Table Tennis, Judo, Taekwondo, Chess and Carom. Outdoor facilities include Athletics, Football, Archery, Wrestling, and Yoga. It had started gaining popularity in 1982 with Asian games. Athletics practice for Commonwealth Games 2010 was also done in Chhatrasal Stadium. All the athletes across the world had praised the stadium during Commonwealth Games 2010. it was renovated for games in 2010 and apporx. Rs. 70 crores were spent for this purpose. Now the stadium has world class facilities in it. It also has a physiotherapy center and a medical room. Two separate lounges are present for males and females. For practice: 6 AM to 9 AM in summers. 6:30 Am to 9:30 AM in winters.

Chhatrasal Stadium has GT road on one side and Ring road on another side. It is just 2 kms. away from Delhi university North Campus. If you want to reach there by metro, then you can drop at Azadpur metro station or Model Town metro station. If you want to reach there by bus, then drop at Model Town-2 or Model Town-3 bus stand. you can also come by your own vehicle. It has facility to park 464 vehicles in its parking at ground floor and basement.
