History of the Banaru Mata temple
This temple was made in about 2010 and built by the local people of this area. In this temple there is a small statue of Banaru Mata is placed. This temple is made on the corner of the road. Whole of the temple is made with the stone and it is in V shape and on the top of the temple they placed a Trishul which is protecting device of the Lord Shiva. Behind this temple there is big story. As this temple is built on the corner of the road and this point is known as the accident prone zone, here in this point so many accidents takes places. So people of the area think that Banaru Mata will Decrease it and after that there is no more accident takes place in this point. Here every year people came and take the blessing of the Mata and go to home happily. People say that Mata will full fill their wish that's why they came year. Every year in the month of the August there is Jagaran and so many people came to this temple.

Around this temple there is two or three places are for wondering. In front of this temple there is a Radha Swami Satsang Vyas where so many people came every Sunday. Also one Guru Ji from Vyas came in the year once and addresses the people in the morning later in the evening they will go to the Kangra and there also address the people. As this temple is situated on the top of the hill so from this temple you can enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains which are covered with snow and panoramic view of the various villages which are the identity of the rural area.

This temple is about 10 km from the Chamba on the Khajjiar road; you can reach this place by bus and taxi. For this place buses came regularly after a certain time interval. And the best season to visit this temple is in summer.
