Krishi Karman award for the HP
Union Ministry of the agricultural has given the National Krishi Karman award for the state for the good productivity in the different crops in last few years due to that overall productivity of the nation is increased. This award was given by the President of the nation Mr. Pranab Mukharjee on the 15th January this year. In the prize one trophy and cash price was given so that the agricultural department can progressed them self. This award is basically given on the basis of the increased productivity in the field of agricultural. The agricultural production is increased from the 11.11 lakh tons to 15.54 lakh tons. In this productions various crops came including wheat, maize, rice and vegetables production are increased. The wheat production is increased from the 3.81 lakh tons to the 6.33 lakh tons, maize production is increased from the 5.43 lakh tons to the 7.15 lakh ton, rice production increased from the 1.05 lakh tons to the 1.31 lakh tons and vegetables production increased from the 12.0 lakh tons to the 13.56 lakh tons. Apart from it agricultural department had also done work in promoting poly house, micro irrigation and organic farming.
On this occasion the Ashish Bahuguna, secretary, Union Ministry of Agricultural has communicated with the department and congratulated the entire team of the department.
