First inauguration is IIT Mandi Himachal Pradesh

Here in this article we are talking about the State's first ever IIT college which is going to be inaugurated in the coming month. This college was built in the Mandi district. The detailed information regarding it is given below in the article.

First ever IIT college in HP
The first ever IIT college in the state which is situated in the Mandi district is going to ready for the inauguration. The inauguration is done by the Union Human Resource and Development Minister MM Palam Raju along with the Chief Minister of the state Raja Virbhadra.
An IIT team of facility, administration and engineers are making arrangement for the formal inauguration. The PWD and its contractor are readying the buildings including academic and hostel.
As in the last year 120 students of the B. Tech. and many students from the PhD and MSc have been already shifted to the new campus last year in the month of the September.
The Registrar, IIT Mandi , Lalita Sharma said that the Union HRD Minister and Chief Minister of the state will inaugurate the new building and all the shifted are shifted to the new building till the end of this year. She also said that work of the new building will start within a month and will be completed in end of this year. And from the last of this year or from next month all the students are shifted to the new building.
