History of the place
Mangla a beautiful village in the Chamba district. This village is about 10 km from the Chamba on the Jot road. This village came into existence about 300 years ago. The history of this place is very interesting. In the 1970 when India and Pakistan are a single country than in this village there are so many Muslim people lives, but when India are Pakistan are separated country than these Muslim people are shifted to the Pakistan and some of the Muslim people stay here and some are go to the hilly area of the district like Jot and Saho and some other areas. But after that this village is changed so much.
In this village there is one secondary school where so many students read. This school was made in the 2000. Apart from this school there are so many other public school and Middle school.
In this village there is one Co-operative bank as well as ATM facility is also available in the bank. This bank was established in the 2007.
This village is basically famous for the plane region, from this village you can the whole view of the Chamba, and you can also see the beautiful view of the Ravi River as well as the city only airport. From one corner you can see the panoramic view of the mountains which are covered with the snow. You can also enjoy the sun set in the evening.

This place is about 10 km from the Chamba on the Jot road, you can reach this place by bus or taxi. There are so many buses are available for the place. In summer this place is so warm while in winter this place is too much cold so March April is the best time to visit this place. When you visit this place then in the day you can wonder this place and in the evening you can go to the Chamba and stay there because in this place there are no hotels for the staying, one hotels is being under construction so may be next year it may be completed.
