We are talking about the one of the famous and recent fair of the Solan district which is known as Daulangee fair. This fair was firstly started in the last few years. The name of this fair is taken from the name of the place. This place is basically famous for the monastery where so many monks lives. In this monastery both women and men lives but they lives separately. This fair was organised by the Daulangee monastery committee in association with the other societies. This fair comes every year in the month of Feb. in the Feb it comes in the 2nd or 3rd Sunday of this month and it continues for the one day.
The main attractions of the fair are the Tibetans cultural, because this fair is totally based on the Tibetans. Here you can see the Tibetans cultures and their foods and their dressing. You can also buy the different things as well as you can enjoy the various Chinese foods in this fair.
Places for the wondering
This place is basically famous for the monastery. Here in this place there is a big Monastery where a large statue of the Lord Buddha's are placed. In front of it there are so many benches are placed for the monks, here on other people can sit on these chairs especially peoples which are not belonging to the Buddhism religion.
On the other side of this there is a large library is situated where so many books as well magazine and various newspapers are placed. You can also sit in the library and read the books. There is also internet facility is available in this library. On the wall of this library there are so many painting of the Tibet are placed. One more thing which you kept in mind, when you visit this library then photo soot is not allowed if you want to take the snap than firstly take the permission after that you can capture the various snaps.
In front of this library there is a big ground where children plays football, basketball, volleyball, badminton and crickets and other sports events.
How to reach this place
This place is situated in the Solan district; it is about 15 from the Solan on the Rajgarh road. You can reach this place by Bus as well as Taxi. For this place there is no more buses are available so you have to take the taxi for this place.
