History of the “Cheschu Fair" in Rewalsar
The Cheschu Fair was beginning in the last few years. This fair is basically famous for the Buddhist pilgrims. In this there are so many pilgrims came from the different part of the country. In this fair basically people came from the Lahaul Spiti, Kinnuar, North East India and also from the aboard. This fair came in the month of the Feb, and continues for the two days, in which different cultural program takes place.
This fair was organised by the Ministry of the Youth affairs and Sports in association with the Panchayat. All the arrangements of the fair are done by the local people of this area.
Main attraction of the fair
The main attraction of the fair was the cultural programs performed by the local people in the evening. And in the last night of the fair there are other program was also held and also Chief Guest came to the fair. Apart from it the exhibition is also held by the Nehru Yuva Centre. In the exhibition there are so many products are shown by the local people of this area.
In this fair there are so many sweets shops are present in which you will eat the local sweets of the Rewalsar which are very famous across them.

This fair was held in the Rewalsar which is about 20 km from the Mandi. You can easily reach this place by bus as well as taxi. This fair came in the month of the Feb and it was continue for the two days. Distance of the Mandi from different places are given below: from Shimla it is about 100 km, from Chandigarh it is about 225km and from the national capital Delhi it is about 400 km. you can also reach this place by train as well as airplane.
