Here we are talking about the one of the famous place of the Solan district, the Heritage park. This park was built in the 2002 and was inaugurated by the former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Bajpai. Basically in this park there is a big temple and around this temple there is a big ground where there are so many statues of the Gods and the different animals are placed. The main attraction of the park is the Surya Dev temple. This temple is situated in the middle of the park and is completely made of the different types of unique stones imported from different part of the country namely Rajasthan, Gujarat and Bihar etc.
At the front gate of the temple there is a big Rath of the Surya Dev with 6 to 8 horses. These horses are made of the different types of the stones and it is a strong belief that if anyone passes under these horses, they will be protected from different types of grah.
Statue of the Mata
There is a statue of the Mata. And it is said that this temple is made in such a way that the first ray of the sun falls on the statue of the Mata.
Shiv Ling
Inside the hall there is a big Shiv Ling of 4 to 5 feet in height. This is placed exactly in front of the Mata statue.
Apart from it there is a statue of the Lord Hanuman, Lord Ganesh, Bhairo Nath and also there is a statue of the Chandramukhi and many more.
One important things of this temple is that there is a big library which is under construction and also there is a museum which is also under construction and all the work of this temple will be completed in the coming 2 to 3 years. This park is situated in the Solan district. It is about 10 km from the Solan on the Kurgal road. You can easily reach this place by bus as well as taxi. Distance of Solan from various places is given as:
