Monkey Point: Famous temple of Hanuman

Solan is one of the fast growing districts of the Himachal Pradesh. In this district there are so many Institutes; Universities as well as School are present. There are so many places for the wondering in this district. Here we are talking about the one of the famous place which is known as Monkey Point. This place is situated in the Kasauli area which is about 25 km from the Solan.

This place is basically famous for the Lord Hanuman temple. This temple is situated on the top of the hill. Inside the temple there is a statue of the Lord Hanuman is placed. It is believed that during the ancient time the Lord Hanuman Visit this place and you can also the Foot print which is seen on the mountain.

This temple is made by the Air Force. This temple was built in the 2011. As this temple was built by the Air force so when you are going to this place than you can go inside only if you have the ID or other proof otherwise you can't visit this place. No college ID is valid. Electronic equipment like camera, mobile phone and ear phone are not allowed inside this place.
So when you enter this area than firstly you have to take the Pass after that you are checked that you have not any electronic equipment. Inside this area there are so many beautiful things are placed on the corner of the road.

This place is situated in the Kasauli, there are so many places for the wondering like on the opposite side of the bus stand there is a Church which was built in the 18th century by the British. On the other side there is big markets in which there are so many things are placed especially this is famous for the wooden things. About 3 km behind Kasauli there is a famous temple which is known as Gharkhal temple.

This place is about 25 km from the Solan. You can easily reach this place by bus as well as taxi. You can also reach this place by train as well as Aeroplane. The best season to visit this place is in the month of March and April.
