Tourism Day celebration begins in the Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Kangra. This function will continue till the 27th September. There are about 45 teams of the participants will be performed in the function.

Tourism Day celebrations begins in the Central University of Himachal Pradesh in Shahpur Kangra. The opening ceremony was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor of the university in the auditorium. The main function of organising such a function in the state to increase tourism in the state, so that the economy of the state will be increased and people will know the culture of the state.


The opening ceremony was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor Yoginder Singh Verma said that organising such a function in state is good thing which will increase the tourism in the state. He also said that we have to organise such type of function in the every state which will includes the cultures of the district, so that peoples knows more about the cultural of the state. This is also a good way to preserve the culture of the state.


On the first day of the Tourism Day, College Making, Photo-caption and Rangoli competitions was performed by the students of the university.


There are so many other guests were also present in the ceremony which addresses the students on this occasion and aware the students to participates more in such function.


This function will be continuing for the several days, its closing ceremony will be held on the 27th September. During these days there are so many functions will be performed by the different students of the university. There are about 45 teams will be participated in this function across the state.


On the last, prize will be awarded to the winning team by the chief guest of the ceremony.


This festival will continue for the several days so you can also visit there and enjoy the festival and knows about the culture of the state. Live programs will performed by the students of the university.
