5th marathon will be started in Shimla from 29th September. The marathon was firstly started in the 2009 years.
5th Shimla Running and Living Ultra Half Marathon from 29th September
Department of youth service and sports and the running and living organisation both will organise an Ultra half Marathon on 29th of September 2013 in the Shimla district. The registration for the marathon was held on the 26th of September in which so many youth has given their name for the participating in the event. Here in this article we are providing the details of the marathon.
Ultra Half Marathon
Department of youth service and sports in association with the running and living organisation of the state will organise to marathon in the state of Shimla. This marathon was firstly started in the 2009 year. The main motive of organises such events in state to encourages the youth so that they will participate in the sports.
Marathon in Shimla
This marathon will be started from the ridge ground and ended at the Jakhoo temple. The total distance of the marathon will be 24 km. the marathon will be started at about 6am or 9 am in the morning. The candidates which have given their name will reach the ridge ground on time otherwise there marathon will be cancelled.
The winner of the marathon will awarded with prize. This is the fifth times that this marathon will be started in Shimla district. The head of the youth service said that we are organising such events across the state in coming few years so that more youth can participate in such marathon.
